Welcome briefly back, this post will be a quick one. Gelatinous cubes are a classic staple in tabletop RPGs and fantasy in general. They are the silent killers of many a new player. Invisible and acidic, they can ambush their prey before slowly eating them. Gross right? Turns out they're also super easy to make.
Like I said. Gross. Well I said it would be easy, not pretty. You got what was promised to you. Besides, gelatinous cubes are only made of, like, one ingredient. Ooze. Ooze is inherently gross. Anyway, you know those plastic boxes that six sided dice come in? Of course you do. If not, why are you even here? Turns out those are the perfect size (large, 2" x 2") for a cube. They also fit over top of your player's minis so the cube can "eat" them on the board.
I said this was a quick one. So get to it. Grab one of those boxes and hot glue every bare surface. Move it around a bit to get a good texture. Boom, done. Then dissolve your players. Or their characters at the very least.
