Blood Pudding

Welcome back, this time around is a monster of my own creation: the blood ooze.  Most oozes and slimes get taken care of by low level adventuring parties looking to make a quick buck.  That gelatinous cube cleaning the sewers or being experimented on in that lab by the wizard who smells a bit weird USUALLY gets taken care of before it gets out of hand.  But sometimes they don't.  Sometimes oozes are left to roam.  And eat.  And grow.  Over time, they become so saturated by their kills that they take on a blood red hue.  Bits and pieces still float around visibly, their bloated forms not fully dissolved.

It's all a bit dark really.

Voila.  Blood ooze.  Made with my favorite of all crafting tools, hot glue.  At this point I'm looking for investment opportunities in the hot glue industry.  No such luck yet.

Here's what you'll need:
  • Hot glue gun
  • dollar store paints
  • washers/stones/ something as a weight in the base
  • dollar store animal toys to cut up
  • basing material
Not much of a guide to this one.  Use the washers as a base and build your hot glooze layer by layer adding in whatever gruesome bits of devoured creatures/adventurers you want.  Mine has a whole cow, a giant lizard, some pieces of crumbled stone wall and eyes because why not.  Once you're satisfied, paint it up, base it and throw it at your party.

Given the long running mythos of blood oozes (that I came up with in ten minutes) I beefed up the stats to make it more of a challenge for my higher level party.
