Wagons! Or are they carts?

Welcome back to the good Ol’ RC. Today we’re going back in history to a time before cars. What can I say, sometimes you just gotta build a wagon for a quick and easy post.

Sneaky Goblin

Or two. These were very quick and simple builds for some scatter terrain, useable in DnD, KillTeam, or whatever your tabletop game of choice is.  They're approximately 2" x 2", or 4 gridded squares.

You’ll need:  your usual dollar store tools, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, dollar store foam board (or something else for the wheels), dollar store wooden dowels, PVA glue, a bit of cardstock and whatever you'd like for the filled wagon.  I personally used a dollar store foam ball and some basil from my cupboard.

I'm only going to run through building one wagon(cart?) since they're basically the same build each time.  You feel free to make as many as you want/need/could ever desire.

To start: cut up some popsicle sticks.  Using your dollar store super glue (or hot glue though I wouldn't recommend it) make the bottom of the wagon bed.  About 3 popsicle sticks wide and as long as you'd like.  Next add the walls and let that dry until it's sturdy.

Cut the foam into appropriately sized wheels (or use washers) and make some holes in the middle for the dowels to stick into.  Glue together the axles and then glue the axle onto the bottom of the wagon.  I personally weighted mine down with washers on the one that's full of hay so that it would stay in one position and not flop all over.

Cut some toothpicks and add the handles.  After that it's all your preference.  Fill them, leave them able to place a mini on, or whatever.  Add a flag maybe.

For the hay I used a dollar store foam ball and covered it in superglue.  The glue melts the foam (DO NOT INHALE THE FUMES) and gives a nice rough texture.  You can then add some pva glue and sprinkle the basil or other spices onto the foam ball.

I also sealed these really quickly with matte mod-podge (also from a dollar store) but this is optional.  That's it! This only took me about an hour in total.  Enjoy your quick and dirty scatter terrain.
